Grief Counseling and Hospice Services
There's probably no life event more devastating than discovering that you or your loved one is facing terminal
illness.
The professionals at Jewish Family & Community Services can provide the compassion and emotional support to
both the living and the dying during this extraordinary time.
Jewish Hospice Connection
Jewish Hospice Connection is a collaborative program of JFCS, Community Hospice Northeast (CHNE), River Garden
Hebrew Home and the Jewish Community Alliance.
Jewish hospice patients receive the same excellent, professional care that is given to all CHNE patients. This
care is further enhanced with the addition of trained Jewish staff members and volunteers from JFCS who are knowledgeable
in Jewish customs and end-of-life issues.
This program has successfully served many Jacksonville area patients and their families.
Grief Counseling
JFCS also provides both faith-based and non-denominational
individual and family grief counseling to assist family members, friends and other survivors cope with the loss
of loved ones.
