Support Groups and Workshops
Sometimes the best way to tackle a problem is to talk with others facing the same situation. That's why we offer
a variety of support groups and workshops, led by licensed social workers and mental health counselors.
Age Spot
In this monthly caregiver support group, individuals come together to discuss the challenges confronting them as
caregivers of elderly parents, spouses or friends. Age Spot examines geriatric care issues such as medication management,
guilt, home health care and caregiver stress.
Jewish Grief Support for Bereaved Spouses
For those coping with the loss of a loved one and needing a place of comfort, a new bereavement group is forming.
Interfaith Support Group
Assisting interfaith couples in working through issues specific to two-faith relationships, topics include the
exploration of ethnic and cultural differences, dealing with parents and in-laws, raising children, and December
delights and dilemmas (holidays!).
