In addition to its extensive array of adoption, counseling
and senior services, Jewish Family & Community Services offers a number of other programs that benefit all
members of the North Florida community.
Life Management
The Standing Tall Life Skills Program
To help people lead productive, self-sufficient lives, the agency teaches a six-part life skills training course
called Standing Tall. The course covers developing a budget and savings plan, being a smart consumer at the grocery
store, tenant/landlord rights, job search skills, and more.

- Grocery Shopping on a Budget and Nutrition Made Easy
- Locating Housing and Housing Resources
- Employment Skills Series and Job Search
Jewish Healing Network
Trained volunteers serve the needs of homebound
and frail Jewish individuals through friendly home visits, transportation, meals, phone calls and other services.
Other programs offered include Healing Circles, informational in-services, holiday programming for residents of
long-term care facilities, educational programming for religious school sixth graders and hospital visits.
JELF
JFCS works in conjunction with The Jewish Educational Loan Fund of Atlanta who grants interest-free college loans
to supply last funding resort dollars that enable Jewish students to get the education they need to succeed in

Career Directions
JFCS provides workshops and career counseling services for individuals entering the work force or seeking to make
